About Workington

Workington is widely regarded as the shopping hub of West Cumbria with a unique mixture of local businesses and high street brands, the town provides an exclusive shopping experience. Although not traditionally known as a tourist town, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t accommodate for tourists. A hidden gem in the town often missed by visitors is the stunning views that can be seen on the draping shoreline cliffs. Watch the sunset as the light slowly drains from the town or gaze across the Solway Firth with glimpses of Scotland from afar. Keeping with the theme of water, there is an accompanying path along the river Derwent running through Workington that allows for some further enjoyment of the outdoors.
